Who is responsible for this service

Mietcheck is run by zzd, a sole proprietorship of Yelin Zhang based in 5000 Aarau, Switzerland.

We give out the full postal address on request. The quickest way to reach us is by email at hi@zzd.ch.

Commercial register and VAT

Sole proprietorship, not liable for VAT. There is therefore no VAT number.

Where the figures come from

The rent figures come from the structural rent survey of the Federal Statistical Office. Postcodes and municipalities are matched to cantons using the official register of localities of the Federal Office of Topography swisstopo.

Both data sets are public. Mietcheck is free and does not resell the data.

Liability

We show the official figures unchanged and add nothing to them. Even so, we cannot guarantee that every detail on this site is correct and up to date at all times.

The notes on your rights as a tenant are a first orientation, not legal advice. For your own case, please turn to an advice centre or to the conciliation authority of your canton.
